OUR STORY

A personal name.
A shared commitment.

Founded in 2023 and based in Livermore, California, MAC Service Group brings together industrial distribution experience and a personal approach to serving customers. Our name comes from the first letters of our founders’ children’s names—a reminder of the family and community at the heart of our business.

Owners Christian Rodriguez and Dan Slattery bring complementary backgrounds in packaging, agriculture and construction. Together, they help customers connect day-to-day supply needs with the bigger picture: how products are used, how teams work and how purchasing decisions affect an operation.

We support businesses with industrial packaging, safety and PPE, agricultural supplies and janitorial essentials. Whether you arrive with a detailed specification or a problem to solve, our starting point is the same: listen, understand and work toward a practical solution.

CO-OWNER

Christian Rodriguez

Packaging. Agriculture. Strategy.

Christian brings 10 years of industrial distribution experience in packaging and agriculture. His packaging education and graduate studies in strategy and innovation shape a thoughtful approach to understanding customer requirements, evaluating supply options and finding opportunities for improvement.

With a strong understanding of crop seasonality and the changing demands of agricultural operations, Christian works with customers to plan ahead for planting, growing and harvest cycles. He helps build dependable supply chains around seasonal usage, lead times and replenishment needs so customers are equipped when their operations need it most.

  • San Jose State University — Packaging Program graduate, Class of 2016.
  • California State University — Master’s degree with a concentration in Strategy and Innovation, 2021.
  • Beta Gamma Sigma — International Honors Society member.

CO-OWNER

Dan Slattery

Construction. Distribution. Process improvement.

Dan brings more than 40 years of industrial distribution experience in the construction industry. His background in Industrial Studies and Six Sigma provides a practical perspective on customer challenges, operational efficiency and the details that help keep work moving.

Dan brings an in-depth understanding of how construction jobsites operate—from the evolving needs of each project phase to the coordination required to keep crews productive. He works with customers to align sourcing, delivery timing and replenishment with jobsite schedules, helping optimize construction supply chains, limit material shortages and reduce avoidable downtime.

  • University of Southern Colorado — Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Studies, Class of 1982.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt — 1995.
  • 40+ years of experience — Industrial distribution serving the construction industry.
